We booked this as an overnight stop on the way home from a nearby car show, having paid in advance and it was easy to find the marina shop on a Sunday afternoon. We were given just a one page brochure which highlighted all the amenities but no mention was made of a token for the shower facility or for that matter any other facility. The site approach is fairly narrow and we had to take care with a 7m long motorhome. The site is grassed and nowhere is flat so levelling blocks are definitely required. We were only on a one night stay so didn't bother with the hook up but we would have needed an extension lead if we had wanted power as pitches were already taken near the electricity points when we arrived. It is a lovely area and there are plenty of walks nearby. Our main issues were a) it seemed to be a dog walkers paradise and we were glad we had managed to park near a gravelled area as we could imagine the grassed areas may have been 'deposited upon' (the dog owners we saw were responsible and did clear up after their pets but would this have happened had we not been there?) and b) there were several cars coming and going late at night to the top end of the site which was more than a little unsettlling as by this time we were the only van on the site. Overall the site is OK but not one of the best we have stayed on for the price we paid.
