Fabulous, will certainly return

We absolutely loved this site. We booked it because of its close proximity to The Marriotts Way cycle path- excellent by the way. The site is very well maintained and has everything you need to make you comfortable- the shower onsite was a nice touch and also kept tidy and clean. The adjoining field didn't have horses in when we went and we enjoyed watching the sun set that evening. It was very peaceful and the owner was friendly. Will definitely return soon.

Great site.

We have just returned from a four night stay at Breck Farm. We were met by Ian who is very friendly. The field we pitched on was very tidy with short grass and lots of room between vans. There is some road noise but nothing too bad. The toilet and shower room were fab loads of room and always clean. Great place for visiting the broads as well as Cromer and Wells. Lovely walk along the Marriott's way into Reepham, the dog loved it as well as walking around the maize fields on the farm. Would definitely stay again.

Friendly host, peaceful site....but

Stayed here due to the sites proximity to the Marriotts Way. The site owner is very accommodating and welcomed us with a local guide to various points of interest. When I phoned to make the booking I was reminded that there are horses in the adjacent fields and so to be aware that dogs need to be kept on a lead at all times. Unfortunately, we were the only outfit who adhered to this request as other members let their dogs roam and relieve themselves freely all over the field. I find this lack of respect very disappointing for one thing and I would hate to think what my reception would have been like if I'd managed to tread any of it inside our lovely 'van! I'll try to find a CL that takes children next time and then hopefully people will be more mindful of their dogs behaviour.

Great Site

Just got back from our 1 week stay (our first visit here). Site is easy to find and access to the camp area is also easy. We pitched up and were soon met by Ian, he is a most helpful and caring owner and couldn't be more amiable. We had a very quiet time as there were only 2 other vans on site. The camping area is all to mown grass and occupies an area not far short of a football pitch so this means plenty of room. Shower and toilet were very good. Approx 200 yards to the left of the site (as you exit) you'll find a farmgate leading down to the Marriots Way cycle path. This is excellent for walking or cycling, views are lovely, going south will take you to Norwich (7 miles) and north will take you to Reepham. Just before you reach Reepham you'll go through Whitwell and Reepham Station whis has been renovated by volounteers, there is a bar and cafe. Norwich itself is a lovely city to walk around. We took in a show (Peter Pan Goes Wrong) at the Theatre Royal , both show and theatre were excellent. Next to the theatre is The Assembly Rooms, they do pre theatre meals but also an excellent afternoon tea (good value too). Cromer to the north is a nice place to visit and I can reccommend  Mary Janes fish and chips! All in all a really nice site to stop at.

Brilliant Site

This is our second visit to this brilliant CL.  We would highly recommend this site as it provides a wonderful setting, peace and tranquility, great walking direct from the site and Ian could not be more helpful and friendly.  Facilities are first class.  We particularly enjoyed walking along the Marriott's Way with our dogs and we are just about to book another stay later in the year.

Perfect stay.

We have just returned from Breck Farm after 3 days. We have never been here before, but thought it was perfect. Admittedly we had marvellous weather. The dog loved the walks, and the owners 3 lovely dogs visited us too. Our family joined us too and we all had a great time. I would recommend this site for its lovely views, and the grass cut short,, and everything easy to use. The shower and toilet on site were great,.and I have nothing negative to say at all. We will definitely be back. Lots to see around and near to Norwich, although we actually didn't leave the site !

Fantastic CL

Have just returned from a 2 night stay with our motorhome and two dogs and we really didn't want to leave.  Couldn't fault this CL being very peaceful, superb views all around, exceptional facilities and great walking straight from the site.  Ian and his wife were very welcoming and friendly and our dogs made great friends with his!  We will definitely be returning here and can't wait to stay at this CL again.

Just perfect!

My wife and I stopped here back in early September, initially for 2 nights, but Breck Farm proved such a perfect place that we ended up extending to a full week! There were only our smallish motorhome and a small caravan on the site, so it was very peaceful and quiet. The owners, Jo and Ian, are a really nice couple, and nothing was too much trouble for them. We enjoyed wonderful sunrises and sunsets, as well as free entertainment from the horses in the adjacent paddocks. We enjoyed the circular walk nearby and rode our mountain bikes into the heart of Norwich virtually free of traffic along the Marriott's Way (disused railway) close to the site. Facilities include Hook-ups, waste water disposal, and free water; although there is only the one (superb) combined shower/toilet/washroom, I believe it would be adequate even in the high season. We never had to wait or queue. There are no washing facilities for clothes, but this is a minor problem. I refer you to the excellent review by GoldieK9 below, which seems to sum everything up perfectly.  I can't wait to return to this site - this is how all CLs should be!!

Breck Farm

We were pleasantly surprised at the beauty and spaciousness of this site. Ideally situated, clean toilet and shower. A bargain! We were greeted by the sight of a green woodpecker and later on sparrowhawk. The town of Norwich has plenty to offer. Tesco and Asda nearby. National Trust properties within 20 miles. Ours was only a short stay of 4 days but we really needed longer to see all the places of interest. Certainly to be highly recommended.
