Lovely CL in glorious Northumberland
We visited this site in late Spring, and were the beneficiaries of beautiful weather for our weekend stay. This CL is easy to get to from the A1, and it is great to see that the road leading to the CL has been repaired. The site is very well sheltered from prevailing winds, and is very quiet. It is in walking distance of both a bar/restaurant in Beal, and in the other direction to a busy pub on the A1 itself. Highly recommended if you want to visit Lindisfarne (Holy Island) and the local sandy beaches.
