Ease of arrival/welcome

Not impressed

The site is very quiet, despite it's close proximity to the A75, but as has already been pointed out, the fee is £15 per night, not £10, and I was on my own in a small van. The only facilities are a tap and 16A EHU per pitch, one shared (full up) domestic sized dustbin, grey water point and one blocked chemical disposal point - see below. There are 5 pitches, all on hard standing. Three have a bit of grass between, two without any grass at all. As those with grass were already taken I had to go on the total hard standing area. I couldn't get my screw in rock pegs to get any grip on the gravel so had to go without the awning. I could only just about get enough grip to hold the van step from moving. I got no tv reception, possibly because my pitch was at a lower level than the others, who did get Ulster TV. The chemical disposal point was blocked when I arrived, and despite a complaint to the owner, nothing had been done about I when I had to leave. With a 300 miles drive ahead of me, I had no other option than to add my waste to the already blocked outlet. Poor value and poorly supported. I won't be going back.
