Perfect

This was everything you could wish for from a CL plus more. It is the best CL we have ever stopped at. We will certainly return, but cannot praise the site and owners enough. A credit to them.

Simply stunning

This is an excellent CL. You probably won't find better. One wet room shower very new and clean. Shower 20p but even my husband needed 40p's worth of time to finish, so make sure you go with enough 20ps.  One ladies toilet and sink room and one men's equivalent, both new and very clean.  Site is spacious and beautifully kept. Lovely Chinese takeaway and award winning Indian takeaway in town. Lots of dog friendly shops and pubs close by. We will be trying The Old Stag at Llangernyw and Tyne-y-coed at Capel Curig, both are dog friendly and have extensive menus.  We are so impressed with this CL, you must give it a try if visiting North Wales.

Well deserved CL of the year.

Just come back from 12 days here, and can only concur with all the awards and praise this CL gets. Owners extremely welcoming and helpful, facililties first class, and if we hadn't seen the other 2 sites on the farm we wouldn't have been aware of their existence, the whole farm site was very quiet. Site perfectly placed for exploring North Wales, and the local town has all the amenities you need, including dog friendly pubs! Will certainly be returning.

Award winning CL site

We have to say that this is one of the best and friendly cl sites we have ever stayed on. The pitches are all hard standing with enough room to set everything up as we do not take half of our house with us. The facilities are superb with a lovely washroom and shower block on the cl site what more could anyone want. Fully serviced pitches as well, takes cl users to another level. Beryl, John and all their family work so hard to keep this site looking so good. We have come back from many a walk and just put the kettle on and sat outside our van having a cuppa, listening to the peace and quiet and the lovely views. You would never believe that there are 3 sites here as it is so quiet. We keep saying that we will go somewhere else the following year but we just seem to get drawn back to it again and again and so do a lot of other people, so they must be doing something right. Deserves all the awards that they get and long may they do so. Even our dog loves to return here as he has got a little stream on the dog walk for him to cool off in.

Fully Serviced

We stayed here at the end of May beginning of June for 7 nights, a lovely 5 van cl with all hard standing fully serviced pitches and a lovely new toilet shower block (showers 20p). The site is immaculate in every way and ideally situated to explore North Wales and the Snowdonia National Park. The Owners are very welcoming and extremely hard working. The only down point is that pitch sizes are not the biggest with only just enough room for our full awning, but this will not put us off staying here again if we are in the area.

Our stay

We recently visited this site, partly because of the awards it has won, and we were disappointed. The site itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The new shower block is outstanding. The outlook from the site is spectacular. However, in 35 years of caravanning our pitch was the worst we have ever stayed on. Pitch number 5 is right next to a line of hedging. We have a Bailey Pageant Moselle- your average family caravan. We were positioned right on the outer limits of the pitch and yet our awning (a full awning) could not be properly erected- the one end was literally in the trees and the poles couldn't be extended fully. The view then from the awning was just this line of trees and was very dark. In addition to this the hardstanding seems to have been fixed with tar. Everything is covered in tar marks, our caravan seats, the awning itself even our poor German Shepherd dog! We love the area and cannot fault the welcome we had or the cleanliness or beauty of the site but we will not be returning.

Nice site, good location

We are Dutch members and traveled 6 weeks through England and Wales. If possible we stayed on club sites. However we found that in certain area’s the club sites are fully booked weeks ahead. This makes spontaneous touring difficult. The quality of all club sites was excellent. All sites where conform the descriptions in de directory or website. For others, from outside the UK, we recommend to become a member of the Caravan Club. Owner was very helpfull in helping to get internet access.
