This is a wonderful traditional CL site. No EHU but wins on location and views.
Spacious flat field.
Mr Taylor is very friendly and welcoming.
Field which does have a narrow entrance off a single track lane. Conifers could do with some trimming here.
Definitely will return.
Many thanks,
Sarah
We couldnt wish for anything more
We arrived on site directly from the savnav and what a lovely place with sunsets over the adjoining field. We spent our 5 days there visiting numerous nearby NT properties. There is a railway nearby buts it's MOD and rarely used. The owner was around for a couple of chats and very pleasant. We do prefer the basic sites with just water and a chemical point. What's not to love about £7 p.n?

Hard to find
Spent over half an hour searching for it while towing a caravan not fun. Postcode took us to a different farm who know exactly who we were after so probably not the 1st to do this. Once found the farm track has a lot if potholes. Apart from all this when we found the field and set up it was well worth £5 a night. Very quite and a nice veiw. ( there is what looks like a permanent caravan on site which has it's Jenny on every night which was a bit noisey) basically got what we payed for

Offers nothing so cannot fail
This site is a great over night halt, water and chemical emptying point, quiet and spacious what more do you need. We've used this site three times now and will use it again when it suits never found it busy, long may it remain so ( for our sakes not the owners). It offers nothing so it cannot fail to deliver. Long may these sort of sites be available.
Cheap and cheerful
A pleasant site we have used many times it is a true CL site ideal for shopping at Bicester outlet centre catching a bus at the end of the lane into Oxford we have also used it on holidays to France as a stopover a water tap and chemical waste point all you need why have a modern caravan/motor home and not use there on board facilities shower etc, with nice green fields around pity we don't have more like it,we be back again soon.

Salubrious it is not but it's cheap with a friendly welcome
Probably not a site that many would stay on out of choice, but for under a fiver, it could be worse. When we stayed, the site was dominated by what are clearly long-term 'vans - local workers it seemed.
Immediately adjacent to a bus depot. The "made" road was not potholed when we used it to access our pitch.
Facilities on site were in working order but not very pleasant TBH.
Not one for us but probably not quite as bad as another reviewer has suggested.
Awful
I shall be contacting the caravan club to remove this site from their books. We drove on down a VERY bumpy track which is being used by workmen installing a solar farm. The field was unkempt with old caravans and tents obviously used by the workmen. The area was not pleasant in any way.
Do not go there!
