Amazing Site

Just back from 2 weeks on this site. It is a well maintained site, with grass cut and picked up regularly, bins on your pitch emptied often. Got a lovely welcome from the owner Rachel who went above and beyond in her hospitality during our whole stay. I would highly recommend this CL site to anyone wishing to tour the North of Wales as it is soo quiet and peaceful with amazing views over the Welsh Hills. Was sad to find out that the pub across the road was no longer open (family bereavement). But the ice-cream vending machine at the site entrance is a must, it was tasty. If we come back down this way next year we will definately be using this Gem of a Site again. Kind Regards Elaine

Brilliant Site for a stop over or long stay

After touring Wales coast line we headed in land to find this Gem of a site, easy accessed with good amenities, the grass had been freshly cut and picked up, like parking on some ones front lawn. The site manager came and made sure we were all settled in and everything was ok, something we miss on other sites where the owners don't seem to care if you have arrived on not. I would recommend this site to all my friends.

A lovely stay…

This is a very well kept site in a very convenient location. Water and dustbins at each pitch, short grass on well drained soil. Owners are so very welcoming and helpful. Walking distance to Denbigh by field paths, and also the bus stops directly outside the gate with regular service to nearby towns. There is also a ‘farm shop’ vending machine here selling very good ice cream, amongst other things! We enjoyed our stay very much. Deserves to do well.

Superb site and location

Booked in at Brookhouse Farm for 10 nights, whilst there we decided to stay a little longer as the weather was glorious, and luckily they could fit us in. Fabulous site in a good location to travel all over North Wales. Water to each pitch and lovely views. The owners Rachel & Philip are so friendly and helpful. All in all a marvellous holiday and we will definitely go back Thanks Ian & Sue Nixon .

Grateful thanks.

As we have already posted an excellent review of Brookhouse Farm. nothing has changed to make me add to our belief in an adorable retreat that it is. That is, however, until we stayed again from July 19th for what was to be eight nights. Unfortunately my back decided to give way again and faced us with the problem of who could come to our rescue in getting the van home. It was, of course Rachael and Phillip the CL owners. They allowed us to lock up shop, go home, and return to the van when I got the use of my back muscles again. We are in our 35th year of membership in the caravan club and these two pushed out the boat of human kindness on a grand scale, far more than we have ever seen. We are left speechless by the kindness of these two people. I can not offer enough thanks, I suppose that when others read this it might make it difficult for us to book again, but rest assured, we will be going again. Don't be embarrassed Rachael and Phillip. You have earned the plaudits so enjoy. Les and Vera.

Just came back from Brookhouse farm, great location, peaceful, great hosts. Ehu water and a bin ( emptied each day ) and a picnic table on each pitch. Bus stop right outside the site. Easy to get to places of interest in the locality. Pub over the road.highly recommended, would definitely go there again.

Great location

We spent a week here in Sept 19 and were very happy. The Cl is a manicured grass field, mainly level, that Philip obviously cares about. No grass cuttings or long grass here. You can stride over to the bins in your slippers. Rachel visited us a couple of times and was charm itself, along with a package of local visits and a plan with notable places in Denbigh. There is a bus stop directly outside the gate, but be warned, they do not take English bus passes! The pitch is fully serviced and grey waste allowed to be drained into the hedge behind us. The Elsan point is well thought out. No lifting. During the day there is road noise from the A525 but quietens down to very little at night. We had an anniversary meal at the Brookhouse Inn and it was quite simply, superb. You would have to be hyper critical to find fault here. There is a Morrisons, a Lidl and an Aldi in Denbigh and great real ales across the field at the Brookhouse Inn. What more do you need. Perfectly placed, perfect site, perfect owners. Bliss. Rachel and Phil will be at the top of our list when we return. Thank you both. Les and Ve'

Great Touring Base for North Wales

This relatively new CL has everything you need to serve as a touring base for the whole of the North Wales attractions are within easy reach whether it's history, seaside, shopping or walking. The site is immaculately kept and we think Phillip, the owner, has a lawn fetish as the site is mown constantly and the cutting picked up! We arrived to find a beautifully manicured lawn and a warm welcome from the staff who escorted us into the site as we missed the turning! It should be noted that the entrance is a bit tricky but can be negotiated by almost any outfit save the largest. Seek site advice if you have a large unit. There was a very warm welcome and Rachel visited us a few hours after arrival to give us the low down of the area in a relaxed and friendly way. Site facilities are minimal so only self-contained units are suitable but the provision of water/electric at most pitches is a bonus and direct connection is possible with caution.....the water pressure is fantastic! Chemical waste disposal is excellent without the need to lift heavy toilet cassettes as the inlet is at ground level. Rinsing provision is provided and, a first for us, a hand washing station.....very nice touch! TV/DAB reception is excellent but only three of the pitches have a clear southern aspect for satellite users...…….the remaining pitches will require a remote dish set-up due to trees. 4G phone reception good. Denbigh itself is only a mile away and has a good range of discount supermarkets. The Arriva 51 bus route connecting Rhyl and Wrexham stops outside the site and runs throughout the day. My only reservation about the site is the road noise which, at peak times, can be a little intrusive but, if like us, you only want a base for touring the area, this site is perfect. We stayed for two weeks and still hadn't seen everything around so will be back!

A very new excellent site

This site opened in Early July and the work done cannot be faulted. Site is level with short grass, each pair of power outlets has a tap, lovely views, easy drive to Denbigh. The main road is within earshot but not too bad. Make sure that you approach from the North as the sign is difficult to spot and the turn very tight from the South. We will go there again
