Another great stay at Brundcliffe Farm. One of the best CLs on the network, and easily the best in the Peak District. We instantly relax each time we go.
Immaculately kept, big views, loads of walks from the site, adjacent access to the High Peak Trail cycle track, and very friendly owners. A mix of well spaced hard standing and grass pitches, all within a dry stone wall paddock. Some pitches are flat and some sloping, with robust wooden ramps provided.
Great countryside location with lots to do in the area. Well away from the main road. Buxton up the road one way, Ashbourne t’other way, and Bakewell to the East. Picturesque village of Hartington down the hill, with fantastic walks down Beresford Dale, Biggin Dale and Wolfscotedale leading to Dovedale. First rate fly fishing in the area, including some day ticket limestone rivers and not far to Carsington reservoir.
Jug and Glass pub within walking distance. Lots of good pubs and eateries to choose from, a short drive away - especially at Moneyash, Crowdecote and Alstonefield.
