A lovely relaxing stay
We have just returned home after staying at this neat and tidy site for 12 days. Emma is welcoming, but doesn’t bother you unnecessarily, but did let us have some excellent freshly laid free range eggs.
We didn’t use the facilities but they did appear to be clean and tidy.
The provision of a small area where dogs can be off lead is great and also provides an excellent view of Snowdonia if the weather is clear.
The site doesn’t have a lake view due to the trees growing too high, but there is a path directly from the site down to the lakeside, and from there you can walk into Llangefni, an excellent walk with the dog.
We watched the RAF trainer planes as they flew overhead at the site when they used Mona airfield for practise, though this was not that frequent.
An excellent central base, which my wife used to walk the Anglesey coastal path, allowing me not to have too far to travel for drop off or collection.
A visit to Parys mountain on a sunny evening is well worth a trip.
