Just stayed at Bryn Llys for the second time. This is SUCH a special site. Welcomed personally by delightful owner Carlo who also helped us to shove our little van into place, on both occasions. The upper pitches are spacious with beautiful open views to the hills beyond and the lower ones are sheltered and wooded with access to a stunning water garden and a large lake, where herons can regularly be seen diving for food. Walks through the beautiful surrounding woodland include a 5 minute stroll to Bethesda where there is a lovely cafe as you emerge onto the Main Street. Other amenities include fab Indian takeaway, Tesco Express, Londis (with Post Office), chippy, launderette annd pubs. Endless possibilities for continuing up into the hills on tracks leading directly from the town. Facilities on site are beautifully presented. A brand new shower room has just been completed which would grace any top quality hotel! The on-site miniature railway, which tends to run on Tuesday afternoons, is a lovely bonus and was a huge hit with our visiting grandchild. Bryn Llys is everything you’d hope for from a CL. And so much more.
