Just beautiful.

Easy to find. The narrow road in wasn't a problem. The site is 5acres......that's huge! The grass was mowed short and we could pitch anywhere. In reality, you would need serious levelling if you went "anywhere". Mr Wheeler provides extra electric cables if needed, but go too far and you are a long way from the water! There is plenty of space that is fairly level. And not too far from water. I think there was 3/4 taps. We managed to use ours as a serviced pitch as no one else needed our tap. There's trees if you want them for shade, and picnic benches. The hard standing was spacious too and I guess a winter/wet stay would be good too but all 5 vans were spread out on the grass. We didn't see Mr Wheeler but spoke on the phone. All the info we needed was available in the shed on site. Loads of bird food was available to use and there was feeders all over the site. lovely walks from the site.....maps provided Lots of recycling facilities and an honesty box for payment if Mr Wheeler not around. It was harvest time so didn't really expect to see a busy farmer! Had 4 lovely nights there.

Peaceful and relaxing

Owners very friendly and easy going. Hard standing pitches available but during the summer you can pitch up anywhere in the orchard. Extension leads for EHU are available to use in the information shed . Plenty of walks direct from the site . No road noise despite being only 0.75 miles from the main road No shops within walking distance No toilet or shower Plenty of wildlife and birds to see on site , lots of bird feeders around the site . A lovely hidden gem of a site . One to visit again Summer or winter

Fourth and won’t be the last visit!

Fourth visit to our “stop on route” CL, not just for an overnight it’s so nice we have a few days, it really is a lovely CL, just approx 10/15min good drive from M5. There are hard standings if needed, but a huge old orchard where you can pitch where you want, owner supplies extra hook up extensions if required. Very peaceful, lots of wildlife Jeremy the owner has bird feeders all over and a help your self to bird food in the fantastic information chalet, with walks info etc! Fantastic walks for dogs all round the fields without leaving the site . No toilets or showers. This is, and always will be a regular stop off on our way to Cornwall. Handy for Gloucester for shopping etc.

A lovely site

This was our second visit to Bulley Farm. It’s a great site with hard standing or field options. Electricity available and if you chose to park in the field there are extension cables available in the information hut if you need them. The owner, Jeremy, is very helpful and charming. There are plenty of dog walks direct from the site which our Springer spaniel thoroughly enjoyed. The nearest bus stop is only three quarters of a mile away and buses run to Gloucester or Ross-on-Wye.

Quiet peaceful site

Stayed here just for one night on our way to Wales. Easy to find. You may need levelling ramps with some pitches. The site abounds with birds, and there is food available to put out for them. The information hut is really useful. We didnt see the owners, so put our fees in an envelope (supplied in the info shed) in the box as required.

Another blissful stay

This is a fantastic site. Really beautiful setting, many lovely dog walks … or without dog …. Direct from site in all directions…big site plenty of room to spread out and so relaxing just siting enjoy the scenery. Jeremy and his wife are great hosts on hand if required but totally unobtrusive and very easy to deal with during booking. Water and electric spread out sufficiently to allow total freedom of pitching. This is a wonderful site, and a real credit to its owners. Thank you for sharing a very lovely corner of your farm Jeremy we will be back again and again to appreciate it.

Loved every minute

This ticked every box for us. Quiet site with field views in every direction and brilliant dog walks directly from site without having to go on any roads, you can walk for miles. I counted 20 different types of birds directly from the van plus squirrels and foxes. Owners are lovely, really helpful and friendly with a vast knowledge of the area. There is an information hut with books, bird food to fill the feeders and loads of local information. We had a large hardstanding pitch but chocks was needed to level the van slightly. In the summer you can also park on the field so a lot more room to spread out. I will definitely be returning to this beautiful, relaxing site

Relaxing break

We stayed here beginning of March 22. Very peaceful and tranquil site on a working arable farm. Very easy access from the A40. Good hard standing pitches (with grass pitches available in the orchard when ground conditions allow). Very good information hut and recycling facilities. Lots of nice walks from the site. Jeremy was very polite and credit to them for a great little site. Looking forward to coming back again.

One of the best

The other reviews have said it all really. Both a selection of hardstanding and grass pitches available with lots of room provided one has a long or extra EHU lead. Lots of footpaths, so great for walks, although they may be rather muddy after long periods of rain. Being a mile or so from the main road, down the narrow but quiet lane, the site is very peaceful, great for hearing the birdsong. Gloucester is about 6 mls away, with it's Cathedral and Rockland, and great for shopping. Lots of other places to visit so we will definitely be back.
