Lovely site, beautiful countryside.

Charming site very peaceful with lovely views. A very pleasant owner. We liked the gated entrance. The 3/4 mile lane is twisty but ok if you take your time. We have a large twin axle, care needed on entering site but no problem. Only around 6 miles in to Gloucester. Really enjoyed our 4 night stay. Will definitely return.

absolutely charming

We stayed for 2 nights in June. It is a wonderful site, so peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Ideal for our two boxer dogs, straight out of the door into some great walks around the corn fields. Large enough to be secluded. Highly recommended if you want a peaceful picturesque stay. Great stop over on the way down to the Gower. Thank you Jeremy.

Peaceful and tranquil site

Myself and my wife and have just arrived back from a 4-night stay at Bulley Farm and here is my honest opinion of our stay. The site is large and you can pitch wherever you wish, with extra electric mains leads available if you pitch in the plum orchard. It was very peaceful and tranquil with birds, squirrels, rabbits, and other wildlife seen. I would recommend this site for a break with Gloucester and Ross on Wye a short car journey away. This site is a bargain at only £10.00 per night (including electric).....

Absolutely fantastic CL

Beautiful and peaceful site. Set in a lovely plum orchard. You can just pick your spot wherever you like. Jeremy is lovely and welcoming. Even leaves extra hook up leads,if you fancy going further in to the orchard. Lots of information in the summer house. Also books and dvds to borrow. Lovely walks and lots of wild birds and animals to spot while sitting outside. Defiantly one to keep returning to.

Amazing

What is there to say that others haven't already said? It's absolutely amazing and would thoroughly recommend. we have just returned after 4 nights which we extended to 5 as we were enjoying it so much. It is peaceful and relaxing with loads of space for all. Jeremy is very helpful if you need him. I don't want to say too much as it will become too popular!

Our best CL

This CL was 'the Caravan Club's best kept secret'. We have been staying-over at this CL for 22 years, using it as an overnight stop when travelling up and down the M5 to Cornwall. In our early days the site was grassed throughout and became very boggy in wet weather. More recently an excellent roadway and hard standing was put in and the facilities that are there now were added. Mr Wheeler has put in a great deal of hard work and brought his CL up to 'Five Star' rating. We have sometimes stayed an extra day to visit nearby Gloucester, but mainly we still use it as a stop-over. Mr Wheeler and his family have always been so friendly and welcoming whenever we call. Even with five vans the site is so big that one can spread out using the thoughtfully supplied extra electric leads, or if not needing electricity, drive further into the orchard for complete solitude. We highly recommend a visit here.

Lived up to expectations

What a lovely CL! We were attracted by the positive reviews and the size of the site and were not disappointed. It is absolutely lovely; peaceful, picturesque and roomy, with plenty of level ground on which to pitch, although you might like to bring levelling blocks so that you can access more of the site, where it slopes upwards among the trees. The provision of extra hook-up leads in the information shed to enable fuller use of the site is a brilliant idea, and much appreciated. The dog-walking opportunities are endless and, although ours were kept on leads on the actual site, they were able to run and roam in the surrounding fields and woods to their hearts' content. Everyone was happy, and we hope to re-visit in the near future.

Fabulous CL

Can highly recommend this site. We first visited in April when it was very boggy but owner Jeremy allowed us to pitch on the farm hardstanding which had fabulous views. We returned last week and were warmly welcomed and the ground was fully dried out so we stayed down by the pond. Very pleasant and peaceful site with loads of space and lovely views. It was harvest time and my daughter and I were watching the combine bring in the grain, Jeremy stopped and asked if we wanted a ride! Unexpectedly we found ourselves riding up front and bringing in the crop, it was a fabulous experience for a couple of city dwellers and loads of fun. Other caravanners had travelled for hours but lucky us! It's only 5 miles and a world away from our home! Free loan of extra hook up cables mean you can pitch anywhere in the orchard and there is loads of tourist info in a thoughtfully placed cabin, including maps of walks in the beautiful local countryside.

Peace glorious peace.

What an amazing site, and so immaculately kept. All footpaths around the farm are mown , there is even an aboretum amongst the acres which was a joy to go through during the heat in May. There is a summerhouse on site with a lending library, and a leaflet showing farm walks. Each pitch has electric and water, and recycling bins are neatly stowed away behind the summerhouse. It was a pleasure to sit out and just hear bird song and look across the fields to a beautiful norman church (it is worth a visit to see the stained glass windows which were replaced in 2000). We sat in the sunshine reading books, enjoying the view on this lovely CL.
