Just perfect for us

Four nights into our seven night stay at Bungalow Farm, we have realised that we will have to return. Granted we have enjoyed lovely weather, but this place and the area tick all our boxes. Mandy and Bob are excellent hosts without being too much in your face. Mandy was very helpful when we suffered a minor medical emergency and is always on hand to give advice and make suggestions as appropriate. Previous reviewers have already described the facilities which offer everything that we require. The luxury of having your own tap is wonderful, as is the very efficient Wi-fi which comes at no extra charge. The spacious WC is very much appreciated too. The tranquility of the place is difficult to describe adequately but Bungalow Farm is set in a rural location with woodland walking adjacent. The bird life is extensive and as I write this review, a pair of buzzards are soaring overhead. We are hoping for a sighting of the muntjac deer before we reluctantly have to leave. Because of the lovely weather, we haven’t done as much exploring as we might, but nearby Hadleigh is a delightful picturesque wool town. We have already resolved that next time we return, it will be for a fortnight!

Hard to beat.

This was our second visit to Bungalow Farm and again it didn't disappoint. Each pitch is serviced with water and electricity and is set in a meadow with views of fields and woods beyond. An adjacent footpath leads to the woods. The meadow has an open aspect with a few trees for shade. A spotless toilet is available, and in the well stocked information room is the code for free WiFi.Much appreciated! And ,not to be resisted, was a jar of Mandy's lovely jam.A large Morrison is in nearby Hadleigh. We revisited Sudbury,a market town with an old fashioned feel. There is free parking for 3 hours at the Kingfisher Leisure Centre on Station road next Waitrose. For coffee time we found the Mill and sat on the balcony overlooking the water meadows. The wandering cows are straight out of a painting. And of course,Constable country is on the doorstep. Bungalow Farm is a pretty and peaceful site which we look forward to enjoying again very soon.

Perfect for relaxing.

Spent the weekend completely relaxing. This CL site is simply perfect for a complete relaxing break. Bob and Mandy are friendly hosts and have worked hard making this a real gem, it is well look after and facilities are first class . There are lovely walks from the site, but we found it was just lovely to completely relax and recharge our batteries doing nothing but enjoying the weather, the lovely views and many different bird songs. Will definitely be going back soon.

A special find

Bunglelow Farm is one of the most relaxing sites we have been to. A warm welcome awaits you from Bob and Mandy. Although reasonably priced each spacious pitch has its own drinking water supply and electric hook up. A spotless loo, comprehensive info room and views across fields to the woods add to the charm. There is a walk from the site through the woods. If you forget your jam Mandy has a selection of home made in the information room. Just down the road in Hadleigh is a large Morrison.Constable country is on the doorstep and Sudbury, a 30 min drive is well worth exploring, with its varied shops, river, and water meadows. If birdsong is your preferred, dominant sound on a site, Bunglelow Farm is the one for you. You will not be disappointed.

Happy Days

If you like being in the countryside in a peaceful and scenic location, this is the CL for you. Bob and Mandy have a caravan themselves which explains just how well the facilities have been designed. The pitches are huge, each has its own water point and the CD point is a work of art....The site is secure with a heavy gate and the padlock code is changed on a regular basis. Although in the country, the small town of Hadleigh is only a few minutes drive and has a selection of shops, pubs and a Morrisons supermarket. Ipswich is not far for a larger choice if required. We only found the site last year and have now been 4 times and have just returned from a 2 week stay, and will be back later in the year.

Two night stay in motorhome.

Excellent site and wonderful welcome even though I had cross booked and we were not expected. I have no hesitation in recommending this peaceful, clean and tidy site to anyone. Run by very helpful owners. Hope to return again.

A Perfect Stay

We stayed at this delightful CL for 2 weeks and the extremely pleasant owners even arranged the weather for us. Everything a CL should be with the added bonus of a tap on every pitch, adults only and no dogs. For the first time away for many years there was nothing to annoy me which was wonderful.  Strictly 5 vans at any time and all other guests seemed to be of like mind and friendly.  Hopefully we'll be able to get in when we want to return.

One of the best!

As good as it gets - a top class CL run by two of the nicest people you could hope to meet. We went for a week and would have stayed for a fortnight but one of the highlights of this CL is that it is run by two of that rare breed of five van site owners who stick to the five van rule!

SHAME ABOUT THE RAIN

Lovely CL, with excellent very well designed facilities, including the information hut. We enjoyed our 2 weeks here despite the rather wet weather that we experienced. Bob and Mandy were very friendly and helpful and always ready for a chat. (If visiting don't miss the ancient railway carriage by the entrance gate).
