Lovely little site

Just spent 3 nights at this lovely little site. Very clean and tidy. Owners very helpful. It is a working farm so a little tractor noise, clucking hens and lambs baaing, nothing disturbing but so peaceful and relaxing. Easy 20 minute walk to Treaddur bay, beach, shops, cafes etc. Some lovely walks around the coast and when tide allows around inland sea. I particularly like the fresh milk vending just a few hundred yards down the road. Great idea, and lovely milk. Plenty to see and do around this site. I'll be back to explore more.

Lovely little site

20 minute walk from treadure bay, site owner is very welcoming all facilities well looked after and easily accessible. Farm produce is excellent in particular the sausage. Can recommend the sea shanty in the bay to eat decent menu and generous servings but wise to book.

Lovely little gem of a CL

A beautiful tranquil site tucked off the main road into Trearrdhur Bay. We stayed over Easter so the aircraft noise was quiet however if you don't like noisy jets, this isn't the site for you. Anwen was very welcoming and the site was kept clean and tidy. There are many walks and little coves around the area. The Anchorage Hotel is the nearest pub. In the bay we can highly recommend The Sea Shanty cafe. We had an evening meal with friends for a very reasonable price. Enochs chippy comes highly recommended too. Rhoscolyn beach is beautiful and a short drive away, with the White Eagle pub nearby. Would highly recommend this site if you're looking for somewhere to explore Anglesey.

Lovely little site

We spent 11 days at this site in August - 12 to 23rd. This is a beautifully run site run by Iwan and Anwen. Anwen could not have been more helpful. It was all very efficient, and Anwen was out with her mower to tidy up the site.as soon as vans left! Everything is really clean around the taps and waste disposal areas and the whole site is kept mown and tidy. It's a really convenient location, being so close to Treardur Bay and shops. Walking distance to a lovely local hotel bar which we used several times after long walks! You can walk easily from the site down to the coastal path and explore different directions. We particularly loved this as you pass so many beautiful little bays, either on the way to Treardur and beyond, or the other way towards Silver Bay near Rhoscolyn. Holy Isle has much to offer especially for walkers. Climb Holyhead Mountain or explore South Stack lighthouse, plus beautiful villages and beaches. We will definitely use this site again.

Ten nights in August 2021

We have just returned from spending 10 nights here, and loved every minute of it. Anwen is such a lovely host, making everyone feel welcome without being intrusive, and creating a relaxed atmosphere. The site was full most of the time with 5 units, but there's loads of space so never felt crowded. Anwen had no problem with us pitching along the hedge line and we felt safe and shltered when the 40+ mph gusts hit the island. Some mornings we were awoken by a tractor, other mornings it could be sheep, or the Hawk jets flying over from RAF Valley. I love jet aircraft so that was a bonus for me, if you don't like them then be aware they are loud and fly over on weekdays. The grass was kept short, the bins emptied regularly. It's an easy 20 minute walk to Treaddur Bay, which has a great beach and the sea is fantastic, there is also easy access to lots of other interesting areas. A little gem of a site tucked away in one of the nicest parts of Anglesey, we left feeling relaxed.

Perfect

A lovely peaceful, sheltered and well maintained site tucked off the main road. Nicely laid out and with very easy access. Anwen is both a charming host and talented artist. Exactly the sort of place we love to discover.

Great Location

We pulled up to a welcome sign that instantly made us feel relaxed. Giving us enough time to settle in, Anwen came and greeted us. She provided us with local information and had a friendly chat. This farm is on a main road but the site was tucked round a corner making it secluded and peaceful. Treaddhur Bay is a short drive away and probably a nice walk if the weather is good. The bay is beautiful and had some nice looking pubs/restaurants. Weather and Covid meant we did not get to try out the area properly but I'm sure it's amazing in the summer.

Lovely CL

Just got back from this lovely CL, easy to find and after being there about half an hour the lovely Anwen came to see if everything was OK, well everything was, from the water to the bins and the chemical toilet disposal, hand sanitisers at all of the touch points, lovely little touch, the hook up points are attached to rocks placed conveniently around the field, also you get a cracking display daily from the aircraft flying over from RAF Valley all within easy walking distance to Trearddur Bay, a beautiful little beach, highly recommend this little site and hope to go again next year, thankyou Marie

Fabulous site

We have just spent a wonderful two days on this site. We took our Motorhome to our favourite destination, Anglesey, and was not disappointed. Anwen, Iwan and their son are the most wonderful hosts. The site is within easy walking distance of Trearddur Bay and the South Stacks circular walk. It is a very peaceful site in a very lovely location. We had a fabulous time and are looking for to visiting again.
