A couple of points of verifictaion made in previous reviews. 1. Follow the instructions for the route given, ingnore your satnav. Our satnav wanted to do every route but the right one, so glad we follwed the instructions. 2. grass not mown and long(ish), as per previous review it was dry and not a problem. 3. There is a little road noise from the road behind the site which you approach on, however it is only noticable in bed. We didn't notice otherwise, note, it goes very quiet at night and is not particularly intrustive as it is a very quiet lane. Note, the birdsong drowns it out. 4. plenty of things to do nearby, but you know that if you're reading this! Other points 5. We only saw the owners 2 minutes in the whole 8 days when we went to pay- that suits us, but I often hear people critice this - I'd say I'd like more sites like this. 5. There is an access track down the bulk of the sites which won't tear up, but a little bumpy as you travel down the site - probably useful in wet - could do with a little hardcore to make smoother - but that is being picky. 6. views are good from most pitches (we were in the first one, which is a little more restricted, but a little more sheltered - we were restricted by site being full) - which is another good point. 7. good recycling facilities, but with a full site, they were overflowing at end of week - probably not a problem if quiet. 8. Although site appears flat in pictures, there are humps and bumps all over, bring your blocks to make the best of your pitch. we always take ours so again not a problem Finally at the price this is an excellent choice, I would suggest that with a very little work the site could be improved to a very high standard.
