Lovely site but

Great spacious site and lovely friendly owners. We hope to return. Just be aware that if you park on pitch 2 you will be able to hear any talking/music coming from the caravan parked on the other side of the hedge.

Bags of space, friendly welcome .

Came here in June for 2 nights and would have been happy to stay longer . A spacious level and neatly mown paddock with 16amp electric and water connections available to each pitch. (Bring a longish hose pipe if you want to connect your unit directly to the water ) Easy access, eggs for sale and best of all a friendly welcome. Information hut with sofa ! Bus route at entrance . We visited Burton Hall in Pocklington and the lovely town of Beverley. York is in easy striking distance too with all its attractions. Highly recommend this site.

2nd visit

We visited this site for the first time in summer 2017. we loved it that much we came back for another 2 weeks this year. May i add, we will be going back next year as well for hopefully a longer break. Nick & Karen are wonderful host. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Easy access for visiting places (as per previous comments). Thanks very much to you both for allowing us to be with you whilst working your wonderful Kelpies! Very much appreciated. Can't wait until next year! All the very best Ken & Lin Southampton

Charming site

This was our first visit to a CL and what a fantastic choice. We stayed 6 nights. The welcome was very warm and friendly, the site is on a regular bus route to York, Hull and Bridlington. We will definitely be back.

Holiday in Yorkshire

What a lovely fantastic site we had a very nice ten days here. Grass mown regularly plenty of space for all your needs. Close to the city of York and there is a Park and Ride just up the road. Tap with two water outlets next to the electric hook-up. Fresh eggs from the farm. Pocklington a small market town is just down the road about two miles. There is an Adli and Sainsbury's. If you like Indian food then visit the Bengal Lounge in Pocklington the food is fantastic and excellent value for money. Dave & Sheila Lambert. from Liphook in Hampshire.

Lovely stay!

We stayed here for 5 nights while we were trying out our new caravan. It was our first time at this (or any) CL, and we would certainly use this site again. A good, large, flat field with water available to hook up if you'd like to. Easy access just off the A1079 and easy to find a few miles east of York. A little road noise but not intrusive. We live locally so we know the area well, lots to see and do.

Perfection

What a wonderful experience it was. The site is perfect. Flat, well mowed, water and electric to each pitch with plenty of space. That's just for starters. Owners Karen and Nick go the extra mile in any event. Not only that, they are friendly, kind and very generous with their time, and soooooooo sooooo welcoming. The village itself is so friendly, it embraces you. The local pub, which is the hub of the community is lovely, with really nice food and good bitter and wines. It's like a step back in time when neighbours were neighbours. The local bus took us to York, Bridlington Pocklington, and we didn't quite make Hull, that's for another time, hopefully in the near future.
