Lovely site

Lovely welcome from Barbara (on her lawnmower) what a friendly lady. Showed us round and where everything was. Beautiful lawned area to park on. We were the only ones staying. Central to local places on IOW. We stayed another night later in the week too. Thank you Barbara.

Great location for seeing the Isle Of Wight.

We have just returned from an excellent stay at Bury Lane Farm CL. As we arrived we were greeted by Barbara who was very welcoming and who directed us to our pitch and gave us the relevant info about the CL The site is firm and the grass is well kept, plenty of space between the pitches with great views from them all. The site itself is central to the IOW so easy access to all parts of the Island. We loved the relaxed atmosphere of the site. Thank you to Barbara for your lovely CL.

All you could wish from a CL site

Lovely lush grass beautifully kept. Plenty of space and easily accessed site. 5 nights here the weather wasn’t great but we had a lovely time cycling locally on the Red Squirrel trail to the Garlic Farm and wonderful Godshill. Then taking the bus to the seaside towns and leaving the motorhome on site. Mrs Watts the owner and her sons were delightful and offered any help if needed. Highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely peaceful site

Just returned from a 28 night stay. The site is very peaceful with lovely views across open countryside. Mrs watts is very friendly and helpful and helps to make your stay a happy one. There is a half hourly bus service running through the village which is very handy at the moment. One bit of advice though, I would make sure you have some levelling blocks ready as they may come in useful but the grass and site is very well looked after.

August 2021

This is a superb CL site, spotlessly clean and Barbara Watts takes pride in running the site. We had a lovely welcome and she is on hand to help if ever you need her. The location is stunning with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The old railway line which is now a cycle trail runs close by and places such as Shanklin, Sandown and Newport are within easy reach, We would definitely return to this caravan site. and hope to do so soon. Thank you Barbara for everything, Owain and Jackie from Wrexham.

Lovely site

This is a lovely site. Plenty of space and easy access even for our very large van. The facilities are clearly marked and well kept. There are some lovely cycle ways close by, and it’s very easy to get around the island. Highly recommend

Just Wonderful.

Just returned from a two week tranquil caravan beam in this peaceful setting. Barbara was so welcoming and friendly and her Son was very helpful. The bus stop down the lane ran every 30 minutes so we ditched the car and travelled the whole holiday in the bus. The site was so quiet you only had nature sounds around. Many nights were spent star gazing in the amazing night sky. Immaculate clean well kept site. Thank you Barbara for an amazing holiday . We will definitely be back. I miss it already .

Wonderful site

We have just spent two weeks at Bury Lane Farm and it is truly wonderful. Barbara welcomes you and makes you feel more than welcome. The site is extremely clean and well kept, it is central to most of the locations on the island. The bus stops are not to far to walk, which makes to a carefree holiday of little driving. We shall certainly return.

Easy to get to lots of places.

We stayed here in September and found a well run CL. Easy to get to even with our large caravan, roads are wide enough for buses, so plenty big enough, last 100 yards are slightly narrower but only saw a couple of vehicles using it during the stay. Got a number of leaflets from Barbara, chosen to our particular interests. Shown to our pitch and was impressed with the way that Barbara looks after the site. Buses are a short walk away in the village and go to Newport or Shanklin. From Newport you can get a bus to most of the Island. There is cycle way/ footpath into Newport, level and easy walk. Would we go back? Yes please.
