May Day get away
We stayed on this CL during the May Day bank holiday. It was a last minute decision to go away as the weather forecast was good for the long weekend so thought we would take advantage. We expected to struggle to find anywhere especially on a site with such good reviews but luckily managed to get the last pitch. We were told that we were being put on the new site, the pictures on the website are of the original site not the one we stayed on. We found the grass a little rough as it was a newly cut from what appeared to be a hay meadow, however, given time I am sure this will settle down and become as lovely as the original site. The plus side is that the views from the new site are marvellous, we could see for miles and spent most evenings watching the wild life. The owners were extremely welcoming and the whole place is extremely well kept, I would definitely recommend this site and will definitely be back.
