We had an enjoyable half term break at Carey Gate site. Access to the site was easy as long as you follow the instructions that they gave and not use the sat nav. The site itself is on a slight slope but the pitches are right at the top. All 5 pitches have EHU and water. There was so much space for our kids and dogs to run around and play. The site is conveniently located - 30 minutes to Bude and the beaches nearby. We particularly liked the fact that they had a small camping field on the other end of the site, which then allowed us to invite another family member with a tent to come along. Phil was very friendly and certainly gave us a warm welcome. Sally was very accommodating and helpful too. The only thing I would mention about this site is the road noise in the day which all goes away at night. However, that didn't bother us at all. We had a lovely stay. We will certainly want to go back again!
