Ease of arrival/welcome

Glorious and peaceful

I stayed here for the first week after lockdown lifted. I expected it to be heaving, but it was just me, all week - and it was my own little slice of heaven! I arrived, and the owner came out to greet me, and suggested the best pitch for the moho. I was shown the facilities (bins, standpipe, CDP), had the various walks pointed out, and then I got myself set up. I felt I was parked up on my own personal (HUGE!) lawn, on railway sleepers, which were perfectly level. I cannot emphasize enough just how lovely this site is. It was mating season I suspect, as there were pheasants vying for the attentions of the laydeez! And others too, but you couldn't miss the pheasants, with all their finery on show. I also had a mini flypast from the Red Arrows one afternoon. The morning walk up the river was stunning, with geese and swans, as well as the ducks. Just beautiful. I wasn't after access to much, other than some food shopping, and fuel, and this was all within easy reach, in Lincoln. If you are looking for relaxation and nature's glories, this is it. I'll be back.
