We booked for 3 nights with friends for last week and ended up staying an extra night. Great location for a lovely site although it was rather muddy underfoot - but hey, it is February! There are 5 well positioned hard standing pitches but not big enough to park a car alongside the caravan, we had a bit of an issue driving off the grass after 3 days standing, but it's that time of year - what can you expect?!. Helen is lovely and very accommodating, providing an extension cable and a local map for the duration of our stay. The site is beautifully clean, and very well located for absolute peace and tranquility - the perfect place to get away from it all. We found lovely off road walks with our dogs, especially over towards Belvoir Castle, passing -and calling in at - some very good pubs. The Dirty Duck provided excellent food and drinks, the butcher in Barrowby is very good too - great ribeye! There is a Coop about 1.5 miles towards Grantham for additional supplies.
