Another superb visit

We have visited Cefn Coch many times, over the past few years and have found Mike and Pat brilliant hosts. The site is situated overlooking Bird rock and Cader Idris, which has a calming influence, after a hard day, visiting local attractions. A glass of wine also helps.!!! Hopefully another visit will be on the cards in 2020 and we wish you a belated Happy New Year. Outside track all set up Mike? Chris And Linda

fantastic holiday

We have just returned from a fabulous week spent at this CL. Pat and Mike, the owners gave us a warm welcome, and our pitch allowed us to look out over the stunning scenery of the Welsh mountains. The CL grass area was immaculate, water and waste facilities very easy to access. The on site loo was adequate for use if no on board toilet. Tywyn has a co-op, Spar and petrol station, and a great promenade to walk along, which we did most evenings as it was so beautiful. We also visited the Dol Goch water falls and went on the steam train which runs from Tywyn through some stunning scenery. Aber Dovey is also a lovely place to visit with stunning beach and small harbour. All in all a great site and we will happily visit again if in this area.

Very disappointed

We didn't stay here but we visited family who were here. We where 2 miles down the road in an excellent CL. I really felt it for my family, the scenery in the area is stunning but couldn't be seen from the site as the hedges were so high you felt closed in.  The toilet was not very pleasant, dirty and unwelcoming. It's a real shame as all it needed was a bit of TLC and there is room to add a shower. When you go to a Caravan club site you expect a lot better standard than this.

Mixed feelings

This was our second choice, (first being full) in this area, the reviews, which we rely on made it our second choice. We found the site easily but were confused by the closed gates and no arrow under the club site sign. Getting in and pitching was easy enough and the welcome and instructions were friendly. We felt the pitches were closed in with views being hampered with hedges that could have been cut to show a picture postcard back drop. It wasn't as quiet as we would have liked due to road noise, although the night was quiet. The thing that really let this site down though for us was the toilet facility that was in need of some love. My wife refused to use it.

A great welcome in a superb location

This lovely CL is located in a glorious part of west Wales, the views make opening the blinds every morning a joy. The owners are kindness personified, booking was easy and the welcome great. I'd warmly recommend Cefn Coch to anyone (and often do)

Gateway to lord of the rings.

We arrived on a spur of the moment while touring in the area so were lucky to find this little gem.Our motorhome pitch was separated by a hedge from the main caravan pitches and was on a hard standing pitch that was looking onto part of the owners well kept garden, it was quite private and once we had set up, it felt like we were at home drinking your glass of wine sitting in the sun shine on a summer evening in our own garden. You do need your levelers on one side of the van as there is a slight slope. The title is because once you are here you discover that the lanes take you into a world of lord of the rings, with views stretching out into mountains of giants and shire's taking you into quaint little dells to find all different homes and an incredible eco moss roofed school!

Tip when positioning your caravan on this cl.

This is a great site and kept very well but a little tip for other users is to make sure you site your van with the pitch number marker at the center of your caravan !
