Fantastic! Just what I like in a CL

Our second CL stop at the start of a six month UK tour and what a gem. A tucked away secluded tranquil lovely little spot with just us and one Caravan for the four nights over the Jubilee long weekend. The towns and villages and especially Bath were heaving and the roads busy so it was lovely to have somewhere as relaxing and peaceful as this to come back to after some long rides out on the scooter. Owner is a smashing chap and really helpful. Its way under priced though at a fiver a night. If you want hookups and manicured lawns then it might not be for you but to me this is exactly what a CL should be. Good services water and waste also. Both easy to get to and use. What more do you want? Five stars!!

Peace and Quiet

A lovely little site. Grass but despite the rain it is firm. Super quiet and peaceful. Owner very pleasant and helpful. Some lovely local architecture and access to local attractions.

Bargain price for a quiet night amidst mature trees and hedges

Pleasant owner. Sited in a garden environment. Room for 4 units, possibly 5. Small pond. Grass a touch long but technically his season ended a few days ago. Easy access off good roads. Close to Bath and Chippenham and Lacock Abbey. Due to excess rain we parked on grassed over driveway but owner states nobody gets bogged down. We stayed just 1 night as passing through so can't comment on Elsan or fresh water as we did not need them. £5 - a bargain for a quiet night surrounded by trees and hedges. Would use again.

Peaceful and good value site.

We used this site in early July 2014 and were the only caravan there. Mr Webb the owner was helpful, the site is very quiet with access to local footpaths. Water tap and elsan point is easy to access. A short drive into Box for public transport, no problems with parking either. Very good value for money, I will stay here again if we're in the locality.

Nice little CL in a quiet location

This little CL is certainly value for money LocalPlacesOfInterest is quiet and the site although small there is plenty of space for 5 vans without feeling overcrowded. There is a small pretty pond on site. Grass is regularly cut but clippings are not collected so they do make there way into van. There are some pretty local footpaths for walkers close to site and the area is vey pretty with some chocolate box cottages. We would certainly stay in this basic cl again if in the area Great VFM
