Perfection in terms of relaxation

What more can I say, besides being a a peaceful and tranquil site, Tony & Lillian are the most homely and hospitable hosts you could ever imagine. Being just my wife and myself as only our second time caravanning (also we are 67 & 66 yrs of age )Tony assisted us to site our van, which made it so much easier. As it was my 67th birthday, Tony even offered to drive us to our selected restaurant due to limited taxi service in the area. Where else would you get this ? Do not think twice about booking Chapel House.

Brilliant

Stayed here for a week at Easter - have stayed on a couple of occasions previously. Got a lovely friendly welcome as always. This CL is one of the best, all the pitches are on hard standing with room for the car next to the van. Really pleasantly surprised to find all the pitches are now what would be classed as super pitches water and waste on each no more filling and emptying containers here. Great location with lots to do nearby will visit again soon

Above and Beyond the Call of Duty

Upon arrival Tony and Lilian went out of their way to make us feel welcome,  and a local area information pack was provided with a good selection of brochures. All of the pitches are hard standing with individual waste, water and electric, and was very peaceful. Yes there are some 'big boys toys' on site, but this added interest for me as a retired engineer, but for those not so enamoured, a line of shrubs has been planted which will eventually shield them from the site. We found it easily accessible and relatively close to several attractions, National Trust properties, Llangollen, and the North Wales coast etc. Sadly I was taken ill nearly at the end of our holiday, and Tony insisted on taking our awning down, and even offered to tow our caravan home (120 miles!).  Would I return? Definitely, when next we stay in the area. You simply could not wish for more pleasant hosts.

Peaceful

Wonderful site in a beautiful area. Owners couldn't be more helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were expecting really strong winds during our stay and owner Tony came down to advise us of the fact and assisted my husband to secure our awning. The site is kept beatifully tidy and the dog run was excellent for our 2year old springer our grandaughter loved it too! Definitely worth another visit. Many thanks Pauline and Jeff Jones Alfie and Chloe

Met on arrival by Tony & he helped man-handle caravan into position on the hardstanding. Very peaceful site and you couldn't wish for any better hosts than Tony & Lillian. We will definitely be returning in the foreseeable future.

Great CL, Great Location

We chose Chapel House for a week in January which was our first winter caravanning trip. On arrival we were provided with a large plastic wallet packed with a lot of information on the locality. The walking maps and information about local towns were really useful. Along with power, the fresh water and waste water drainage available on each pitch meant that we were able to use our Aquaroll mains adapter and grey water waste pipe for the first time. This was really useful in the winter weather. We had a slight problem with the electrics and Tony was very helpful, producing diagnostic kit to check our kit and to make sure all was as it should be. The CL gave us easy access to the Clwydian Range, which we hadn't realised has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with some great walking, particularly along the Offa's Dyke Path. With really helpful hosts, a great location and superpitch services this is a CL to be highly recommended and one we expect to see again!

A little gem

Found this site by accident at the last minute after our planned site was waterlogged. Really enjoyed our stay and Tony made us most welcome. On the last day we had a problem with our tow socket and Tony took us to the local caravan dealer to get the part we needed so we could be on our way. Will definately visit again.

A wonderful welcome to Wales!

We have just returned home from a relaxing break in North Wales - Chapel House is a lovely, quiet and welcoming site, owned by Tony and Lilian Pearce. The welcome we received from them was really warm and genuine. Tony assisted in positioning and setting up our van and then proceeded to inform us of the surrounding area and places of interest. Both Tony and Lilian couldn't have been more helpful and I enjoyed a nice 2 hour fireside chat with Tony in their lovely house on our last evening with them - what we didn't talk about isn't worth knowing! Needless to say, we put the world to rights on one or two things! We left on Friday 30 May 2014 to return to Lincolnshire after 4 days at Chapel House with a heartfelt promise to return in the not too distant future. This sight really is well worth a visit - it is reasonably flat with 3 hardstanding pitches (Tony has plans to make all 5 pitches hardstandings), 16A hook-ups and a really friendly rotweiller to boot! - Thank you, once again, Tony and Lilian.
