Lovely Place
Outstanding peace and tranquility even if the weather is not good. Lots of wildlife and countryside around although you'll have to plan your own longer walks (just use an OS map).
Also if you are remotely interested in fly fishing this place is a dream. Step out of the van and straight into one of the best venues in the North of England. Even if you've never fished before the foks there can teach you and lend you everything you need for a whole new experience.
Just planning a return right now.
