Can't wait to go back

Just back from a week at Chicken Barn, and will definately go back next year. A remote site surrounded by gentle hills (yes, hills in Norfolk) offering fantastic views. We pitched at the top of the hill where we got a good tv signal. It was dry when we arrived but agree the hill would be difficult in wet conditions. Also we were exposed to very strong winds one evening where as those at the bottom of the site were protected. Ended up storm strapping and double pegging the awning, where as the awning at the bottom of the hill barely fluttered. Water point down the hill, good holiday exercise! Loads of walking right from the caravan door. We don't own a dog, but most people had their hounds with them. Didn't cause us any worries at all. So much to do in the area. Watch out for deer in the evening, we saw two Stags having a tiff, and be prepared to be woken in the night by owls. Fabulous.
