Lovely site

Spent a week here and loved it so peaceful and quiet surrounded by countryside. On a clear night you see so many stars it's magical being from a city not something I've ever seen. You can walk across the fields from the site into woodland and footpaths for miles so very good for dog owners like myself. There is also a big country house within walking distance although we did not visit it there is a cafe and garden centre there. be careful when using a sat nav it will take you past the site to another house, when pulling off the main road you drive down a track and turn right just before the main house and down a tight track onto the cl. You can either pitch on the left with 2 hookups which we did but quite hilly so levelling blocks are a must. There are also 4 hookups on the right but this is up a steep hill so some may struggle but it is very flat once up the hill, this seemed to be the most popular area as 4 caravans were up the hill and just us at the bottom on our own all week which we didn't mind as they seemed very cramped up there. Tv signal is difficult and we did need our satellite dish other reviews say signal is better on the hill. Owner very friendly and came the day we got there to collect money and tell us the local walks etc never bothered us again the rest of the week. Beautiful views and also paddocks with horses to whatch if you like peace and quiet this the site for you.
