Ease of arrival/welcome

A visit which was ruined by a regular visitor !

Please bare in mind that this site is a church carpark that links directly to the beautiful medieval graveyard and as such in our view ought to be respected as such. We arrived on a Thursday and we were quite literally amazed by the almost unique tranquility of this very individual site, but little did we know our visit would be ruined by the arrival the following afternoon by a regular visitor who treated the site as if it was their very own! This isn't the place to point out the errors of this member who didn't control their dogs at all, nor ask their grandchildren to respect the beautiful, ancient consicrated land over which they noisilly rode their bikes, but very clearly this regular visitor should have paid far closer attention to the requests made in the visitor notes of this beautiful churches surroundings!! Luckilly this couple and their grandchildren were only there for 2 nights. But with the exception of the above which I am reporting to the PCC, this location is a quite amazing and utterly tranquil CL to visit, most especially if you are dog owners or twitchers, as from the very entrance of the site their are quite literally miles and miles of totally unspoilt tracks to explore, but mind you, keep an eye open for tics as from our experiences there are a lot of the terrible little critters in the immediate neighbourhood. The location of the site allows easy access to a wide area of the beautiful surrounding countryside and with the exception of our first two days we loved every single minute of our stay. Oh and by the way, this is a very basic site which is one of the reasons why we loved it so very much.
