Very well kept site that is well signposted from road and easy to access. Large, flat, firm grass field with open views across paddock and up to the Downs. EHU & water for each pitch with good central emptying facilities. Very friendly owners visit regularly and provide a useful information leaflet. Excellent walking from site with a wonderful Natural England reserve on the Downs which was full of orchids & butterflies when we visited. Avebury & Silbury Hill are accessible via public rights of way and make a a good day out (15m). A delight to watch the barn owls hunting at night from our pitch and lots of bird life around on the farmland & canal. Our idea of a perfect site - we look forward to a return visit.
