Beautiful Site

Have just spent 3 days at this site. Wow, what a fabulous place, great size pitches, everything is absolutely immaculate. Lovely owner greeted us as we arrived with a comprehensive list of really useful local info. Will definitely be back

A Real Gem

We have just returned from a week at this lovely CL. The site has spacious serviced hard standing pitches. We had a warm welcome from the owner. A bonus was having the lovely Alpacas in the field behind us. There was some road noise, but it didn’t particularly bother us. There is a convenient shop nearby, very handy for provisions. Another bonus is the bus stop nearby which takes you to either Truro or Falmouth and beyond. Ideal for Motorhomers. Would recommend.

Best CL - ever!

What a great CL. Exceptionally well laid out, clean and tidy, all the facilities you need and a great base to head out and explore the sights of Cornwall. Owner Carla will give you a cheery welcome, and so will the alpacas in the field behind! Highly recommended.

'A Cornish Gem'

This was our first visit here, but it won't be our last! Everything is beautifully kept, and the owner never seems to stop working to ensure it stays that way! Access is very easy and the pitches have all been well thought out. The dogs have their own fully enclosed meadow, and yes, the grass is kept cut in there as well. The free Wi-Fi works a treat and we had a good phone signal. This locality is ideal for visiting endless places. Thank you Carla for your very warm welcome and for all your very hard work, I for one certainly appreciated it.

A Gem

Fantastic, clean well kept site. Carla is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. As the husband commented best use of a road cone ever! If you want one of the best (if not the best) CL sites in Cornwall then book in here. Truly outstanding. Thank you so much.

Peaceful, Friendly, Beautifully Kept Site!

On arriving Carla is there to welcome you to this very peaceful but convenient CL. This is our favourite site for visiting Cornwall, all the pitches are hard standing and have electricity and water. The grounds are beautifully kept with well tended trees and hedges while flower beds and shrubs surrounding the excellent disposal facilities. Probably the most attractive aspect of this site is that it is so convenient for visiting other parts of Cornwall - the City of Truro only minutes away. Falmouth with marina, beaches and attractions is 15 minutes drive away and almost anywhere in Cornwall can be reached within half a day’s drive. Next to the CL a is a field with 4 alpacas and 4 chickens roaming freely. A real haven from the rush of everyday life!

Beautifully kept site

We only stopped one night here on our trip around Cornwall but it was a lovely site. We were given a warm welcome and Carla explained what was in the local area, such as the local shop. The site was beautifully kept with large hard-standing pitches so ideal for a winter stay. There was water on the pitch and the rubbish/ waste area was nice and clean. It was lovely to watch the alpacas in their paddock next to the site. I would strongly recommend staying here rather than the more expensive Club site a mile down the road unless you need toilets/ showers etc.

Lovely flat open site with a wealth of places to explore

Chygwyne Farm was the 2nd leg of our Cornwall & Devon tour. We were greeted by Carla who was very welcoming and friendly. We had a large hardstanding open and sunny pitch. This was a marvellous location to discover the area. We cycled till we could go on no more and had the most fantastic time exploring. The site is kept immaculate by Carla and she is very on top of the Covid cleaning of the shared facilities including gate handles. There was a large field for us to let our dog off the lead, the site was flat and quiet with a Co-op just down the road. It was lovely to wake up each morning to see the alpachas. We will certainly be back as there is still more to see and do in the area. Thank you Carla for telling me all about your beautiful alpachas and for being an excellent host.
