Although we had extremely wet weather we are not normally put off by this, however at this CL the grass area where the hook ups are situated was a serious disappointment being right against the busy lane to the golf club and the 'facilities' little more than basic. Add to this there is a young persons Pioneer activity centre right next door and the noise from 6am throughout the day was like being camped beside a high school playground. They ran just the other side of the hedge where we were pitched every morning with instructors bellowing at them, and the kids swearing and screaming. The club and facilities was aged and although staff were friendy there were no welcome packs or information about the site or the area. . No food at night at the club either. A lovely area but certainly not a site we would recommend or return to. We left three days early and went elsewhere. We felt cheated of our long awaited holday.
