Lovely site between the bridges

We stopped for one night so didn’t get to explore the area but we pitched against the hedge looking out over the Severn to Wales and had a view of both bridges. Slight hum of traffic noise but still a peaceful site. Saw a woodpecker on arrival. Basic facilities. £30 for a one night stay, less for longer stays.

Hidden gem

What a lovely site. Fantastic views over the river severn and the 2 crossings to Wales. Facilities are a little basic but ideal for a stopover or as we did, visiting friends and family for a week. A flat site involved no levelling for our caravan. A stones throw from chepstow, cribbs causeway shopping and M32 into Bristol center. Background "Bristol hum" but singing birds all day long. Ideal for the severn cycle/foot path. Far reaching views of Wales. Dog friendly with easy access to large dog walking fields. Point to note is prices increased slightly on published fees. We'll be back.

2020 Pre Lockdown Hols

Lovely site not swish but very functional, owner and her grandson are very nice and welcoming, they have adjoining 3 fields for walking the dogs, the site has full views of the River Severn and both bridges, and Chepstow over the river. There could be some road noise depending on wind direction but it never bothered us, There’s a Dog friendly pub within walking distance approx 1 mile, (in main village) serving lovely food and ales with very friendly staff. Lots of walks and cycle routes nearby, shops over the bridge in Chepstow. May be some nearer but we didn’t find them (didn’t look really) Just past the site entrance there is access to the river and an access road leads to the Jurassic cliffs under the bridge, on top of which the camp site sits.

View to die for!

I would give more stars for the beauty if I could! Stunning views over the Severn , at night the bridges lit up like christmas trees. Traffic hum but less overnight. Good access, flat pitches. Loos and shower very basic but adequate.
