Approached through a wooden gate, then a short drive through a wooded area before a sharp right turn uphill into the CL. The site is reasonably level (though we used ramps) with grassy pitches separated by mature trees and bushes. The water tap is on the left, just as you turn right into the CL. The chemical waste requires a walk to the owners' house, so not especially convenient, but that's why the cassette has wheels and it is a pleaseant walk. The owner was very pleaseant and offered local maps and directions. We visited the Seven Sisters and walked in the Frston Forest, but there are many other walking possibilities in the area. We also visited the pretty village of Alfriston.
