Lovely location

Cobnor House is at the end of the Chidham Peninsula just south of Southbourne between Emsworth and Bosham. It is situated in a lovely location with very easy access to terrific walks and views of the various creeks in Chichester Harbour. The site has no 230v, so a good, fully charged 12v battery is essential. In fact the only facilities are a tap and a chemical disposal point, but what more do you need? The lady that oversees the site (Judy) is lovely and very welcoming. If I had a criticism (and it is the only one) it is that the ground is very bumpy and, when we visited (May 2013) the ground had quite large areas of bare soil. This didn't spoil our stay, but it could have got quite muddy when wet. Most bank holiday weekends, I understand, have neighbouring fields with caravan rallies going on in them. So if you were expecting the normal 5 units you may be in for a surprise. That said, it is really a little bit of heaven!
