Lovely spot and charming people

Having never been to the site before and due to the time of year there wasn't a soul around, so I had to follow my nose to find the field but as I looked on google maps before leaving, I knew roughly where to go. I was a bit worried at first as its a totally private country estate, but it soon made sense. The site field is a good size and fairly level. The 'wet' pit for the loo empty takes a bit of hunting out but it is well signed when you get to it. We parked up ok but after 2 days of rain, I was wheel spinning to drive out, so I asked Mike to kindly pull me out with his tractor which he did more than willingly, which stopped me tearing up the field trying to drive out myself, which I may have been able to do, but maybe not. I have already re booked and will be taking my boat next year when the weather warms up, great slipway on site which is for the sole use of estate guests and selected others. All in all a lovely place and run by lovely people and has all you need in the way of facilities.
