Best CL we have stayed at.

This is a great site. Beautifully landscaped, mature trees, level pitches and lawned grass. It is perfect for dogs with a great exercise field opposite the site. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. A great Elgood’s pub within walking distance serving real ale and home cooked food. This is the best site we have ever visited and will definitely be back.

Peaceful, beautiful setting

On arrival we were welcomed by Teresa, the site was beautifully landscaped and there was so much room. This was our first stay at a CL site and it wont be our last to this site. We have a rehomed dog and this was her first trip away, Teresa and Paul were so helpful. We had a really peaceful stress free visit. Ample walks for the dog, the grass was cut on the walks, the wildflower paddock and the scents in the air of the afternoon were lovely. The toilet block was spotless and the fresh eggs we brought were very tasty. 10/10

One of the best

Really nice site, Teresa is very attentive and provides a host of information about the origin of the area and how the fenlands have developed over time. The site has easy access and the well spaced pitches are fairly level with some shade away from the pitch should you need it. The spotless toilet and shower block constrction is with the less able camper in mind and the addition of a washing machine is a brilliant idea. There is plenty of easy flat walking from the site and nearest pup that serves meals is a 10 minute walk up the lane. We use CL's a lot and this is one of the best, highly recommended.

An oasis

We stayed for 4 nights at this cl and what a find it was the facilities were spotlessly clean with hand sanitizer at different places around the shower and toilet block the grounds were very well landscaped, Teresa the owner is a lovely women with a wealth of knowledge of the local area, Eggs are for sale in the dish washing area and a washing machine if you feel the need to do some washing, Common Right Barn is the best cl i have ever stayed at and we will definitely be trying to book there when we are that way again next year, shouldnt be writing such a good review because probably won't be able to book when we try again

One of the very best!

We stayed here for 9 nights at the end of May and were very impressed with the CL. The welcome from Teresa was lovely, she said we could pitch any way we wanted, so we chose to pitch sideways. Pitches are well separated and huge with lots of space around. Access is very easy too. Local towns and shops are within easy reach by car; there is also a bus stop, about 10 minutes walk, which goes to Wisbech and March. There is a WC and separate shower (included in the nightly fee), which are cleaned daily, there was disinfectant spray and hand gel available. There is also a separate room with 2 sinks and a washing machine which is free to use! There are even 3 rotary driers on the site with pegs. Bins for recycling and chemical emptying are at the other side of the block. For those with dogs, there is dogwalk, complete with dog poo bin. There are also free range eggs for sale. We had bikes with us and cycled for miles in every direction, the lanes are for the most part very quiet, although a couple of the roads can be relatively busy at times, but not overly so and didn't detract from any of our bikerides. For the princely sum of £17 per night for 2 adults this is one of the best CLs we have stayed on, and is exceptional value.  The CL is very well kept and Teresa is a mine of information on points of local interest to visit, she also gives you printed info on arrival, for things to do and see in the area.

Excellent, What a Find

After finding out that our original booking, in another CL, wasn't actually booked (my fault I think) we phoned this site in a bit of a panic hoping to get fitted in at short notice. When we spoke to Teresa she couldn't have been more helpful and we duly arrived on site. I couldn't have been better and what a welcome we got. This was during the summer of 2021, so there were still COVID restrictions in place but that didn't detrect at all from our stay. The site is spacious and easily accessible. Highly reccommeded.

Peace and quiet - such a relaxing break

Easy access to the adult only CL even for a large twin axle caravan such as our Buccaneer Schooner. On arrival a board indicates your name and the allocated hardstanding pitch. The site is a large, flat lawned field – each pitch has a 16 amp electric point. The pitches themselves are all of a generous size and have views of the surrounding countryside plus the site’s shrubs and trees (all neatly maintained). There is a good dog walk with access to the fields beyond. Re-cycling bins, fresh water and Elsan Point are located outside a wooden building. This building contains a WC, a separate large, modern shower, a separate tourist information, book exchange and, unusually, a washing machine. It should be noted that these facilities are all free to use. There are several washing lines situated around the CL field complete with pegs. The site has free WiFi although the signal strength can vary. Good WiFi signal can be found near the house where seating is available. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to be given a folder by Teresa containing several leaflets on what to see and do plus an Ordnance Survey map for the area. The local area is good for walking and cycling on quiet, flat roads and tracks. Peterborough, Kings Lynn and Cambridge are all within reach for those ‘shopaholics’. There are several pubs within walking distance – details are contained in the leaflets within the information pack. We have no hesitation in recommending this CL and we will no doubt return at some time in the future.

5 Star CL caravan club site

What a brilliant CL site and a lovely welcome from Teresa the owner. Toilet and shower were spotlessly clean. Brilliant utility room and even have washing lines around the pitches to dry your washing that has to be a first. The only down side was we could only stay for one night on our journey home but hopefully will be able to return for a longer stay next time we are travelling from the North east to Essex/Kent.

Pleasant 5-night stay

We were lucky to get an excellent pitch, at the far end of the site, which was spacious and well-landscaped. The facilities are very good, and the entrance is straightforward. Well-positioned for visiting Wisbech, Peterborough (really lovely) and Downham Market. Just a pity that other caravanners seem to feel that "dogs on leads" does not apply to them, and ignore the well-signposted dog walk.
