Warm & Welcoming - A Hidden Gem

Just returned from our 2nd stay at Commonwood - although this was our first visit since the new owners took over. What a genuinely warm and friendly welcome we had from the moment we arrived - Christine was on hand to check we'd had a good journey, hand out important COVID information on site, and generally help to settle us in quickly. The site is an absolute gem, tucked away down a quiet country road but less than a mile to the beach...a good 20 minutes walk but the reward for our 3 spaniels to jump in the sea at the end was perfect. The site is well maintained, there are extending hoses on pitches 1-3 for grey water to disperse in the hedge line, and plenty of information and brochures on places of interest to visit. Joe and Christine cleaned down 2 or 3 times per day to minimise risk of COVID transmission, and were on hand daily for any questions or queries. They made such a fuss of the dogs too - lovely to have a site where the dogs genuinely ARE welcome. Am sure we will visit again and highly recommend this site.
