Delightfully peaceful.

This site will suit you if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful and aren’t too bothered about all of the extra facilities offered on other sites. There’s no electric hook-up, which shouldn’t bother you if your unit has solar power or if you also (as we do) have a small silent generator to top up the power. The facilities are basic (there’s a tap for water and a place to scoot out the contents of your toilet but on the up side, two of the pitches, aside from being individually very private, must have the best view anywhere on the Caravan Club’s listings and the others are roomy and far enough from the neighbours also to be private. The farm also has its own shingle seaside and some space to walk about and the village of Tarbert is only fifteen minutes away by car. Plenty to do if you like the countryside, we’ll be going back in the autumn.
