Living just over 30 minutes away we've passed this site many times & have often commented how it looked just like the sort of small site we'd like to stay on if we owned a caravan! We finally bought a caravan earlier this year and tried to book on here for our first outing over Easter weekend but unfortunately the site was already fully booked. We finally got to stay 2 nights last weekend and we'll definitely be back. The site is well looked after & the owner very friendly. Having 3 dogs with us we do a lot of walking so we walked the cycle path into Carnforth (approx 1.5 miles) where there are pubs, cafes & shops. We also walked the canal towpath to Lancaster & back and there are plenty of other walks close by.
