Lovely quiet spot right on canal side

This is a super spot great for walking the dog along the tow path & although I didn't quite manage it I'm sure the walk to Devises would have been beautiful. There are several pubs along the canal which would make a good stop on route. Mrs Brown was not in when we arrived, although we had been given clear instructions of how to get to a pitch. It is just a field with no facilities, except for a septic tank & a cattle feeder water troff with a tap attached to get fresh water, however, both of which were locked so we could not empty our black water or fill up with fresh. Had we'd been staying for more than the two nights we would have gone to the farmhouse to try & get this sorted, but we had enough water & room in the loo so we didn't bother. So best the check before you arrive that these facilities are available. Great spot though if you like peace & tranquility & watching the odd narrow boat passing by.
