Convenient for Farnham but that's all

If we hadn't had reason to be in Farnham we would not have bothered to even stay one night at this site. The site could be compared to an old railway yard regarding the surface. Plenty of 'do's' but mostly 'don't' signs about. No rubbish bins on site and as previously mentioned a long way to the Elsan point. The site has no atmosphere and is very low maintenance with the owner seemingly taking little pride in the site (except for his bit of grass which is off-limit to users campers.)I I did meet the owner when it came to pay. It was a business like encounter. During the day the site can be noisy from the mini industrial site on the farm. There is also substantial road noise from the A31, but one can hardly blame the owner for that. Would we visit this site again, most unlikely. Can I recommend the site? - NO....

I feel your review is most unfair.  I don't know where you got road noise from but the farm is off the A325 and quite a distance from the A31.  The site was basic and all anybody could need.  The one memory I bring away is how tranquil our stay was and I find it hard to imagine anybody would find otherwise.
