Beautiful pitch on working farm

This is a beautiful site overlooking the Quantocks. Shower and loo clean and warm. Excellent dog walking from here. We did a 10km walk, taking in three pubs and lunching at the Bell, as recommended by Kevin the site owner. It is a working livery yard, hence horses, dogs and guinea fowl around the place, some could find them noisy but we loved watching them. I have yet to find a bad CL site but this one is, in my opinion, one of the best we have stayed on. You will need levelling blocks as the field is on a slight fall. There is a water tap to fill up bowsers, tanks etc and the hook up is spaced to allow plenty of room to pitch where you would like. We pitched next to the horse field our collie spent hours, almost nose to nose, with some of her new equine friends. The road directly leading to the site is narrow but we found it fine in our camper van, nothing touched the roof and just was aware that Something may be around the corner, however passing places adequately spaced to avoid reversing. Use the postcode on the site details from the members’ page and it will take you straight there. We be returning to explore and discover more of Somerset. Neil
