Beautifull views and peacefull location - April 2018

After a short drive along a small country road we arrived at Crimson Hill Farm site, access into the farm wasn't an issue. After turning into the site field we were greeted with stunning views towards the Quantocks and beyond. We were the only ones on the site at the time over the period of our five night stay, a couple of other vans visited but only over night; having plenty of space between pitches made the stay a very quiet and pleasant one. Two local Pubs, one walking distance (The Bell) with a local country shop next door, makes for a nice walk taking approximately 40 minutes at a stroll. We visited the other on the way back from a day out and had a meal, very nice and reasonably priced food. Close to National Trust locations and 30 miles from Mine head ideally situated for days out. Toilet and shower always clean and tidy which is attached and part of the house. As you visit, you walk by both the sheep, lambs and horses in the paddock which is lovely especially first thing in the morning, also Rufus, Kevin's little dog comes out to greet you 'good morning'. A really lovely stay Kevin and his wife really friendly and helpful, we will visit again.
