We stayed at Crimson Hill for 4 nights in early May. It has cracking views over the Vale of Taunton and is easy access to to Taunton town centre (ten minute drive) and the surrounding area. We were made to feel very welcome.  Kevin gave us local advice and we wandered down to Curry Mallett (ten/fifteen minute walk) and had a good meal at The Bell.  Good value and excellent quality food.  The beer was also of a high standard and the dogs were welcome. There is lots of good walking in this area.
