We have visited the Somerset levels on a regular basis for a long time now as it’s not that far from home but wanted to try somewhere a bit different and so glad we did because this CL was such a treat. The views were to die for and being lucky with the weather (first weekend in October) we were able to just sit outside our caravan and soak up the glorious views and the perfect peace. Kevin couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. We tried both the nearest pubs, eating at both, and thought they were both lovely and friendly with good food. However, I’d say the Hatch Inn was more of a restaurant type pub whereas the Bell Inn was a proper local that served good food. Each to their own and what you’re looking for but we had no complaints about either of them. We will definitely be returning soon.
