We chose this site over another as it had a no dog rule even though it had no showers and loos and was more expensive so we were a little disappointed to be met on arrival by 5 yappy dogs. We are dog lovers but we have become a little fed up of other people’s dogs constant yapping 😩. However the dogs weren’t a problem until our second/last night when they barked and howled all evening until after 10 pm. Not good. The site itself is well kept with water etc fairly close. Only 10 amp. There are some lovely if very strenuous walks from the site. I don’t think it’s really suitable for motorhomes as it’s a long walk to the nearest shop and pub, we knew this so brought enough provisions for a short stay. The drive is quite rough and overgrown so need to take care not to scratch the side of the van. Definitely more suitable for Caravanners.
