Cwmtydu Caravan Site offered us a perfect peaceful break with a very nice welcome. The site is very small with only 5 pitches yet each pitch has ample of room. Our pitch no.3 had an amazing view of the sea in the distance which made for a gorgeous sunset. The amenities for waste and water were clearly marked and well placed near the entrance. The coastal path from Cwmtydu to Newquay has some magnificent views and there are a couple of lovely secluded bays along the way. We were staying in a motorhome for this visit and found that we missed the car as the site is very remote. We will definitely stay at Cwmtydu again although we will definitely stay in a caravan with a car next time. The only negative point that we have is that the Lane to access the site is extremely tight. We managed it in a motorhome and the site owners assured us that there was nothing in the hedgerows that would cause damage after we called on arrival to check.
