Beautiful Site- wonderful views, great facilities, close to coastal walks.

This site is wonderful! Nestled at the bottom of Anelog, with fabulous views and close to wonderful walks along the coast and close enough to walk into Aberdaron ( about 45 mins) The site is very level with closely cut grass, excellent gravelled hard standings, 16 amp electricity and water tap on every pitch. There are 2 toilets and coin operated shower - always clean. The welcome and care we received from John and Carys was fantastic, particularly when unfortunately my husband was unwell with back problems. John came every day to check we were ok and assisted me taking awning down and getting bikes on roof, as my husband was unable when it was time for us to leave. Cannot recommend this site highly enough and the Llyn peninsula is just so beautiful!! We have visited twice and so looking forward to returning again.

great CL with good facilities

Had a very pleasant stay here in August . Nice level hardstanding pitches with own water and waste overlooking farmland. Site has 2 toilets and a shower. Short walk to coast path and nice walk up to adjacent mountain/ hill with panoramic views of peninsula and about 30 min walk to Aberdarren. Very friendly owner. Will definitely return again

Fantastic stay

Fabulous fully serviced pitches on this quiet site. Lovely warm welcome from the owners who are happy to help. Great coastal walks. Fantastic blueberry scones at Whistling Sands Cafe and superb meal at the hotel in Aberdaron overlooking beach. Important to follow directions in book than follow Satnav. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Good CL

We stayed here for 4 nights in August. The site is well laid out with level, serviced, hard standing pitches which are generously spaced out with immaculate grass between. The owner is very friendly and welcoming and was very helpful when our water pump broke, lending us an alternative until we got into pwllheli to get a new one. There is another larger, completely separate site adjacent, which meant the CL was a bit noisier than we are used to. Our children loved the beaches in the area and walking on the coastal path which is on the doorstep.

Walking the Llyn Coastal Path (or at least a bit of it) from Cyndyn

We were here the second weekend that Wales opened up to tourists. Not that many people around. Very well set up site with immaculate lawns. Pitches are all serviced, fresh water, electricity and grey water waste. However, best thing about the site, for us, was that it is practically on the Lynn Coastal Path. the 146km footpath that goes from Caernarfon to Porthmadog (and back). We walked 11km of it! On Friday evening we did from the site to Whistling Sands (if you slide your feet through the sand it really does make a whistling noise), 10km there and back; and on Saturday to the end of the peninsula (great views of Bardsey Island), 12km there and back.

Campervan visit September 2019

Friendly welcome to well laid out site with fully serviced hard-standing pitches. Grass immaculate around site. Relatively sheltered for a coastal site with views towards Aberdaron and Myndd Anelog. Good location for walking with easy access from site to coastal path. Coastal bus request stop a short walk along the road. Facilities clean but not used. Peaceful site when we visited but there is a neighbouring camp site, although again this seemed quiet.

A very good value stop in the Llyn Peninsular

MAKE SURE YOU APPROACH THE SITE FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS IN THE BOOK. We stayed here for 2 nights in September 2019. We were not the only people on the site. There were 3 caravans and 3 motorhomes. We were parked on a reasonably level hardstand within the field with our own water supply and waste pipe should we require it. We paid £ 15 per night. The grass was very well manicured. There were 2 toilet blocks well presented and clean. The shower cost 20p for a long time - very good value. Mr. Jones is a very jovial person. He has a lovely laugh and it comes out quite a lot. The site is very peaceful, most of the time. The owner rents out a caravan and the guests using it while we were there did not seem to be considerate towards others campers and had their TV on quite loud. The sea is visible from the pitches but the main views are hedges, fields, hills and countryside. The site is extremely well positioned for people who, like us, are walking the Wales Coast Path. The Llyn Coastal bus stops about 10-15 minutes walk away from the site. The Coastal Path beach is about 15 minutes walk over a small hill. Aberdaron with lots of facilities, shops and pubs is about a 30 minutes walk.

Enjoyable stay

Warm welcome from friendly, helpful owners. Lovely views across countryside. A well kept site with good facilities. Mainly fully serviced hardstanding but some grass pitches. Short walk to coast path and stunning scenery. Enjoyable coastal walk or 20 minute quiet road cycle to lovely Porth Oer. Usually like our CL’s a bit ‘wilder’ but there’s something cosy and comfortable about Cyndyn!

An exceptional CL

We totally agree and endorse the comments made by other reviewers. This is an exceptional site with well constructed and level hardstandings each with FULL hookup facilities. Add to this a good toilet block, good views and an entertaining and helpful owner and you can be assured of a relaxing holiday. Whatever you do, follow the route instructions in the Club Guide. To try and approach from the Aberdaron direction is fraught with danger because it is very narrow with sharp bends and you are likely to damage your caravan or motorhome. You have been warned! We have already booked to return next month.

Beautiful location and excellent facilities

Just as the reviews say, beautiful location just a short walk from the magnificent coastal path and the Aberdaron peninsular. Good pitches with hardstanding if you need it, very well serviced with showers and toilets. Very friendly and helpful owner. If you have a caravan I suggest you don't approach from the West side as the lane is very very narrow - go the way the guide tells you!
