A very peaceful site. Easy access to and from the site even with a T/A and room to manoeuvre on site. The toilet and washing facilities are very basic but as we use our own onboard facilities it wasn't a problem. Had a very nice meal in The Cross Inn pub at Horsley Cross. There is a large coop in Manningtree town. From there you can walk along the river to Flatford Mill. Didn't see the owner until we knocked at the house to settle up before we went, but that doesn't bother us. The site is well off the road down a farm track so it felt quite secure as the only passing traffic was to the farm house which is also a B & B although part of the site is hidden from view from the track.
