Handy for the Harwich ferry
It's neatly maintained, and has more than enough space for 5 caravans, with electric points well spaced around the field. The directions to find it are clear, and quickness of access for an early morning Harwich ferry (what we really wanted) is a plus, and
there is bed and breakfast accommodation in the farmhouse for anyone travelling that way without a caravan. Knowing we'd be leaving early we went to the house to pay the night before - the camp site is certainly run with gentlemanly trust of its visitors.
We found it thoroughly satisfactory for an overnight, but wouldn't stay for longer than that - we prefer smarter toilet/washing facilities than the basics this site provides (in an oldish outhouse) - but we fully understand that other Club members with more luxurious caravans than ours are happy to use their own facilities.
